Relies on WMF, which goes up to Windows 7.

What is windows-tools?

PowerShell 3.0 and later are supported, on Windows 7/2008R2 and later; the exception is GetRedists, which requires 5.1. Please note that 7 and 2008R2 ship with PowerShell 2.0 by default. Installing the WMF will update to 5.1.
