What is Quiesce ?

Quiesce is a single-executable Windows system cleaner and RAM optimizer no installer, no background service, no bloated GUI.

It clears out the real junk that accumulates over time: Windows temp files, user temp, prefetch cache, error reports and crash dumps, delivery optimization cache, Windows Update cache, log files, installer cache, and DNS cache.

Its RAM optimizer is built around transparency rather than a mystery "boost" number. Standby list purging and modified list flushing are safe, on-by-default operations that reclaim genuinely idle cache. Two more aggressive options - system file cache purge and working-set trimming - are opt-in and off by default, since trimming a running app's active memory can cause a brief performance dip when you switch back to it. Quiesce always protects the current foreground app and system-critical processes when trimming.

The binary embeds its own author, repository, license, and SHA-256 hash, so it can be verified with qc --version even without internet access. Source is publicly available for anyone to review before granting it Administrator rights.
