I've been using Bitwarden on desktop and mobile for a few years, and it's the best password manager I've used so far.

End-to-end encrypted. Free and open source. For extra features, Bitwarden's premium account is still less expensive than 1Password's most basic account. Also, Bitwarden can be self-hosted if you want even more control over your data.

Premium plan is a lot cheaper than 1Password's premium plan. So if you are on a budget and still want all the features a password manager can offer, Bitwarden is a better choice for the least amount of money.

It is a completely open-source solution. No "premium features". It has a down side, that it is not a full ecosystem, but this can be resolved with plugins, companion apps, etc.

KeePass does not store your passwords 'in the cloud', so you have complete control over your data and don't have to trust any third parties on the security of your most passwords. KP can be easily intergated with various tools that one uses, e.g. a browser and its functionality can be extended via plugins.

Combining [KeePassXC + KeePass Tusk + KeeWeb + KeePass Touch] you have a completely free setup for 1Password replacement. Although KeePassXC has its own browser extension, Tusk connects directly to cloud storage, being able to work on portable versions of Chrome and Firefox.
