Apple unveils iOS 18.4 and with several new features and languages for Apple Intelligence

Apple has launched its latest software updates: iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, macOS Sequoia 15.4, and visionOS 2.4, with a strong focus on enhancing Apple Intelligence. These updates broaden language support by including Simplified Chinese, German, Spanish, and more, as well as localized English for Singapore and India. Importantly, Apple Intelligence is now accessible to users in the European Union for the first time.

The Control Center introduces new ways to interact with Siri through "Type to Siri" and "Talk to Siri" options. The iPhone 15 Pro's Visual Intelligence feature can now be accessed via the Action button or Control Center, and Priority Notifications allow users to manage crucial alerts directly from the lock screen. Additionally, Apple News+ now includes a dedicated food section, while new ambient music categories such as Sleep and Chill enhance audio experiences. Apple CarPlay usability is improved with support for three rows of app icons. The Apple Photos app adds new filtering, customizable sorting, and the option to disable "Recently Viewed" and "Recently Shared," while hidden photos are excluded from imports if Face ID is enabled.

On iPadOS and macOS, the Apple Mail app benefits from AI-powered categorization and priority tabs, and users can select a default translation app in Settings. Vision Pro is also integrating Apple Intelligence for the first time, with iOS 18.4 offering a Vision Pro app for managing spatial content.
