Clipchamp to integrate Microsoft Copilot for AI-powered video creation starting September
Starting in September, Clipchamp will integrate Microsoft Copilot to enhance its video creation capabilities with AI assistance. Copilot will offer AI-powered scriptwriting, generating customized scripts based on user prompts to simplify the scripting process. It will also automatically source high-quality stock footage, saving users time and effort in finding visual content.
Additionally, Copilot will assemble video projects by incorporating music, voiceovers, text overlays, and transitions based on the generated script and sourced footage. Users can then open their video drafts in the Clipchamp app for further editing, allowing for refinement and personalization. Once editing is complete, videos can be exported and shared directly from the app.
This new integration joins the list of recent AI-powered features that the platform has received in recent months, such as the 'Auto Compose' feature or the Silence Removal Tool, which aim to increase Clipchamp's adaptability and position it as a viable alternative to other popular video editors like CapCut or even Adobe Premiere Pro.
