Linux Distros and Android Alts to Watch and Use

Open-Source and Community-Made Operating System alternatives for Android, Windows, and MacOS. There's no alternatives for iOS yet

If you want to switch to any of these let me know and I'll help you out. Switching is similiar to downloading an app in a way.

  1. For New Hardware I Recommend Buying These To Be Able To Make Better Switch

If you want to replace an old device these are your best options for hardware

Laptop: KDE Slimbook VI: https://kde.slimbook.es/ (Or your own laptop)

KDE Hardware (A lot more on there)

Latest Samsung Phones Covered by LineageOS (Or your own Android phone if it is covered), or Latest Google Phones Covered by GrapheneOS

You can still use your current devices if they are covered by the below operating systems. More devices are always being added to be covered overtime

  2. Android-Based Alternatives

Use these for now if you are on Android. If you have iPhone there are no alternatives for it

  6. Mobile Linux Distros

Keep an eye on these for near-future. They are not ready for use but when they are it will allow you to switch to that OS and makes your a convergence phone (I like to call it a triphone). Basically, what it means is that your phone will become an all-in-one as a phone, laptop-desktop, and tablet. So you can use the features of all 3 altogether instead of needing seperate devices.

    When you connect your Triphone

  7. This is the main one I recommend since you'll be able to make your phone look and run however you want. Whether you want it to look and be like Android or iOS without actually being Android/ iOS

  10. Laptop-Desktop Windows Linux Distros Alternatives

Recommend switching to any of them except the last ohne if you are new and on a Windows laptop.

  11. I currently use this one for my laptop that has it run like Windows. Specifically I use the Cinnamon version of Linux Mint that makes it look like Windows 10. Customizeable to look, and sound how you want.
