Linux Distros and Android Alts to Watch and Use

Open-Source and Community-Made Operating System alternatives for Android, Windows, and MacOS. There's no alternatives for iOS yet If you want to switch to any of these let me know and I'll help you out. Switching is similiar to downloading an app in a way.

What is Mobian?

Mobian is a project to port the Debian Linux distribution running the mainline Linux kernel to smartphones and tablets.

Same as Debian. • Privacy & freedom – No proprietary Android dependencies; uses mainline Linux kernel and free software drivers where possible. • Security – Standard Debian security updates, optional full disk encryption, and no vendor lock-in. • Supports external devices – Displays, keyboard, and mouse via USB-C/DisplayPort for a desktop experience when docked. • Developer-friendly – SSH access, root shell, and ability to install server software; easy cross-compilation and packaging.

Supported devices:

• Librem 5 • OnePlus 6/6T • Pocophone F1 • PinePhone, PinePhone Pro, PineTab, PineTab 2 • Pixel 3a • x86-based devices are also supported
