My Essential Android Phone Apps

I don't spend much time on phone, I'm a PC guy. But here is a couple of apps I use to get the most out my smartphone.

If you're a PC user, you'll most likely find video players as a major letdown in the Android system, even VLC doesn't offer that much of a well-made app. After lots of trials, I decided to have MPV as my main video player.

Did you try Fennec F-Droid icon Fennec F-Droid ? It's a 100% foss version of Firefox for Android, you can download it on f-droid. There is also Mull icon Mull a hardened fork of fennec with focus on Privacy so I would recommend this one over the PlayStore version of Firefox

For office viewing and editing I personnally use Collabora Office Classic icon Collabora Office Classic as it's the only open source alternative I found to Microsoft Office on Android.

I prefer DeepL Translator icon DeepL Translator over Google Translate, since you want to avoid Google you should give it a try. IMO it's way better !

Hope you will find my recommendation helpfull ^^

Edit : Didn't know Musicolet looks cool as it doesn't has internet permission will take a look !
