Signal-FOSS
Awesome underdog project! Signal should make this on their own. It adds a few basic patches on top of Signal, either fully or mostly automatic, so you get very fast updates and no proprietary Google blobs! Just works, nothing fancy. Molly has way slower updated while theoretically being nicer
This list is obviously very short, add more linux apps for TV or with controller input support here!

Lets see how it goes! This has the chance to become the first and only open source payment wallet. Which is crazy, payments should be open source and work on more secure Androids like GrapheneOS, but well they are not.
Proprietary, "Cloud" based, motivates users to pay for it.
I switched to Keepass (KeepassDX and KeepassXC), synchronized with Syncthing. Its way better, you can archive and share the file and own your data!
Bitwarden would be a good alternative, if you want the Cloud-based experience, but being OpenSource.
Obtainium
This app combines lots of sources and even has a search function!
Its use case is to download Android apps directly from the official releases, instead of from F-Droid for example.
You can share your sources via a backup, making adding them less painful.
You can use the F-Droid source links for most apps, or even search for them.
Github, Codeberg, Gitlab and more work without a problem, some have trouble. Also the Developers dont always supply precompiles APKs so you may need F-Droid

Finally. Every software making the Windows experience less shitty is kinda bad for Linux, but yes... Microsoft... thats how it should be done.
And also FOSS! Amazing.
GrapheneOS
GrapheneOS is the only OS you should use. The installation is a breeze, and afterwards the device is locked again. Updates come extremely fast (faster than most Phone Manufacturers, which is a shame as they get access to the code faster). They focus a lot on security and enhancing core Android features, never reinventing the wheel. They enhance the permission model, user profiles, and user apps. Google Apps are made available as standard user apps, so they dont have to be flashed, but can just...
