What is ZoomIt?
ZoomIt is screen zoom and annotation tool for technical presentations that include application demonstrations. ZoomIt runs unobtrusively in the tray and activates with customizable hotkeys to zoom in on an area of the screen, move around while zoomed, and draw on the zoomed image. I wrote ZoomIt to fit my specific needs and use it in all my presentations.
NB: ZoomIt also includes a fullscreen countdown timer.

Microsoft uses this software.
Perhaps it is extra good for special occasions like Dos is saying in another review.. Screencasts, webinars, and presentation.. but for day-to-day average user, I would keep looking. Not intuitive enough. Made me think more than I wanted to. Once in, tough to get out. Too hot-key reliant. I'd sooner use a tool in my Screenshot Captor Program.
