YouTube Media Player Comments

Not Exactly A Stand-alone Program

Just from looking at the website, it appears that this "program" is a browser extension, which begs the question: why would anybody need to use a browser extension to watch a YouTube video?

I am looking for something I can plug a YouTube link into and watch the associated video -- without using YouTube -- mostly because sometimes YouTube gets busy, and the video I'm trying to watch starts to play ... oddly.
