Minitube
A lightweight YouTube client.
What is Minitube?
Minitube is a YouTube desktop application. With it you can watch YouTube videos in a new way: you type a keyword, Minitube gives you an endless video stream. Minitube does not require the Flash Player.
Minitube is not about cloning the original YouTube web interface, it aims to create a new TV-like experience.
For Linux this application is free and open source: "This program is free software: you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation, either version 3 of the License, or (at your option) any later version."
For Windows and MacOS there's a free version and a commercial version. The latter includes email support and free updates to all future versions.

I am glad that is working and open source. I would not go and call it "Freemium". It's just time trial, which gives you about 5-10 min of uninterrupted usage.
I'm not sure why you would pay for a freemium app on a technically freemium service.s
Crap and do you know what, i am fed up with these programs saying and looking like they are free when they are not but only free for 30 days sick to death with having to uninstall this junk
... with stopping video watching and popping up a dialog. This is not at all what I expect from a free application. (I tried on Windows 7)
It is only free for Linux OS. For Windows and Mac you have to buy although the author allows try out.
I'm willing to pay for it. It offers a better way to watch Youtube.
