Glaze opens youtube.com in a window of its own and restyles it; it is the real site, signed in or not.
On the video page, suggestions, comments and the title block are hidden, so the video fills everything under the top bar, and each comes back with one switch. When the window is wider than the video, a blurred copy of the picture fills the margins instead of black bars. The top bar, side menu, menus and player controls are frosted glass over a wallpaper.
SponsorBlock is built in and skips the sponsor segments its users have marked. Picture in picture (Ctrl+P), always on top (Ctrl+T) and a video grid whose card width you set.
It runs on WebView2, the Edge engine built into Windows 11, so signing in to your Google account works as in a browser. Not an ad blocker: the ads YouTube plays in videos still play.
Installer or portable .exe, both update themselves. GPL-3.0, no account, no telemetry.
