What is LibreTube?

LibreTube is an alternative frontend to YouTube icon YouTube for Android. It's Free and Open Source. It retrieves data via NewPipe icon NewPipe Extractor, but doesn't pass the request to Google as NewPipe does. Synchronization across all devices is easy with an online YouTube frontend Piped icon Piped account.

I haven't tried out Revanced so far, because it was to complacated for me to set up. But it's fancier then NewPipe and also has all the basic features you know from YouTube.

Said about LibreTube as an alternative

LibreTube is NewPipe but looks better and is an overall smoother experience in my opinion.

Pros:

*Material You *Faster *SponsorBlock built in to main app *Subscriptions refresh automatically

Cons:

An account must be created to subscribe to channels, but fortunately, you only need to create a username and password, no email or phone number or anything
No auto-rotate

It is more privacy friendly as it uses piped instances to fetch videos from you tube , it is adfree and constantly adding feature and LOOKS MODERN THAT NEWPIPE'S OUTDATED LOOK.
