The paid version is decent. My files in one of my drives were accidentally deleted and This tool detected all of those files and recovered them all. The software preserved the directory tree and every file and folder were on the exact spot they used to be. If you want to pay money for a software I recommend this. If not then use Testdisk 7. It has a file undelete feature that recovers files. I have used this before and It recovers all files. A small number of files will be placed in the wrong place. But It's Ok, you can organize those files later.
Free version only does one thing.
ie, Restores Recently Deleted Files ... the "key" word being "deleted" ...
LOST files is another ball-game.
For all other features is by subscription ... monthly or annual ONLY.
The free version is VERY limited, run from it.
