What is Vidma?

Vidma is a free, open-source video calling service that runs entirely in your browser. No signup, no downloads, no accounts — just create a room, share the link, and start talking.

Features: • Video calls with up to 20 participants • End-to-end encrypted chat • Screen sharing with system audio • Virtual backgrounds (blur + custom scenes) • AI noise suppression (RNNoise, runs locally) • 10 languages: English, Russian, Spanish, German, French, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Polish, Ukrainian • Works on desktop, iPhone, iPad, Android

Built with privacy in mind: no registration, no tracking, no ads. Media flows through a self-hosted LiveKit SFU with DTLS-SRTP encryption. Chat uses E2EE via LiveKit DataChannel.

Open source under AGPL-3.0 — you can self-host it on your own server.
