What is thatChat?

thatChat is a modular AI chat platform for websites and e-commerce that runs on your own hosting. One chat widget captures leads, handles customer support with AI-to-human handoff, answers FAQs from your knowledge base, takes bookings and recommends products in your e-shop.

You bring your own AI key (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Groq, Mistral, DeepSeek or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, including self-hosted models via Ollama or vLLM). You can connect several providers at once with automatic fallback. thatChat never resells AI tokens, so you pay your AI provider only for real usage, and conversations and customer data stay in your own database.
