Tabchat

Tabchat puts your chat and work apps in one window with tabs, sharing a single browser engine instead of running a separate Electron app for each service.

It adds the desktop features the web versions are missing:

• Unread counters on every tab, in the tray icon and on the dock icon
• Keeps running in the background, click a notification to open the right chat
• One shared Microsoft sign-in for Teams, Outlook and OneDrive that stays signed in, also with school and work accounts
• Multiple accounts of the same service side by side
• Tab sleep: unused tabs are unloaded from memory and come back with one click
• Do not disturb, following your desktop's Do not disturb
• Ctrl+K quick search and browser-style keyboard shortcuts
• Screen sharing in Discord and Teams, also on Wayland
• Light and dark theme, English and Dutch

Tabchat is free, open source (MIT) and collects no data. Available in the Snap Store and as .deb and AppImage.
