    Bandcamp allows you to support artists directly and without having to use an app and with less fees. It has a lower barrier to entry than Spotify so you'll find more independent artists. The merch feature is great and allows you to buy merch (digital/physical) and music all in one place.

    AntennaPod is great for podcasts. Has all the necessary features minus the tracking and ads. You wont find the spotify exclusive podcasts though. So if you listen to some of those, then Spotify might be your only option.

    It is a easy to use, nice looking, privacy friendly and OpenSource all in one solution for Podcasts. Probably the best podcast app there is. Only thing that is missing is being able to comment or see comments on ActivityPub Podcasts' feeds
