Sound Lock

Hi,

This is still a must have for listening any sound from whisperings to loud cry, without having to touch the volume and without ear annoyance, keeping the "real" sound level always the same whatever your Windows or Application or Source volume level is.

Since I am using it on a daily basis after all these years on all my Windows devices, find below some setup instructions.

Note that it only shows up in the notification bar as a locker icon.

With a single click on that icon you get a little window with 3 informations:

• a switch "Off/On", the colored half is the active one.
• a vertical slider: this is your "Volume Limit Consign".
• a vertical jauge: this is the current volume. When "On" the jauge will never go higher than the "Volume Limit Consign".

Right click on the icon \ settings: -Filter mode=Filter master -Output channels=channel 1 & channel 2 -Output device=default -Always On Top=false

1/ Set your Windows Volume to 100% in the Volume Mixer 2/ Click on Sound Lock then enable it with "On" 3/ Move the vertical slide to set the "Volume Limit Consign" Play any sound on your computer to enjoy whispers and explosions as much :)

In rare situations the volume level would not show when clicking on the icon. I then toggle the "Always On Top" to true for the time of modifying the volume. Takes 1 sec.
