Rutba Office

Rutba Office is a free office suite for Windows, for home and business use. One download installs thirteen apps: mail, documents, spreadsheets, slides, PDFs, pictures, image editing, video, a calendar, a database (Data Files) and more.

It opens Microsoft Office files and Outlook .pst archives, works offline, and never asks you to sign in. There is no telemetry. The only part that needs an account is Talk, for calls and messages.

Data Files does what Microsoft Access does for a small business, and comes with twenty-five ready-made business databases, each with its invoices, receipts and letters to print. There are forty-nine short how-to films, one task each.

The source code is on GitHub. It is in beta: the installers are not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen warns on first run, and every installed copy updates itself.
