rNitro is a lightweight macOS and Windows menu bar system monitor designed as a privacy-focused alternative to iStat Menus. It displays real-time CPU usage, temperature readings from SMC sensors, network activity, and includes a Mandelbrot-based CPU benchmark. The entire app compiles directly from source on your machine — nothing prebuilt is downloaded. Written in Swift, distributed as a single shell script installer. No telemetry, no data collection, no subscriptions.
