What is Vitals for macOS?

Vitals is a free and open-source native system monitor for macOS, designed especially for Apple Silicon Macs.

It provides detailed real-time monitoring of CPU performance and efficiency cores, GPU, Neural Engine, memory, temperatures, power usage, SMC sensors, processes, physical disks, SMART data, network interfaces and overall system health.

Vitals also includes process monitoring with CPU, memory, disk I/O, wakeups and energy usage, disk-space analysis with a visual treemap, configurable menu bar modules, floating desktop panels, alerts and built-in CPU, memory, disk and Metal GPU benchmarks.

The application is built natively with Swift, AppKit and C++17. It does not use Electron, does not require an account, contains no telemetry and has no third-party runtime dependencies.

Vitals is licensed under GPLv3 and the complete source code is available on GitHub.
