A functional and clean VM based shared browsing service with no catch. The service is kept simple so it's no stress inviting people to use and technical hurdles are very low so it's easy to access.
A very fair monetisation system with no ads keeping the viewing experience nice and clean for whoever you are sharing with.
bonepyramidWonderful cozy little alternative. The default theme also doesn't potentially burn someones eyes. I hope it can become open source though. I wanna be able to customize it. That and it could thrive a lot more with allowing people to contribute to the development for it.
KillerMisioThey actually care about their consumers
burnerlmfaoIt does exactly what rabbit did, plus with amazing customer service.
Big shout out to my guy horror :)
Functions nearly identical to Rabbit. Has friendly developers too.
Uses VM exactly like Rabb.it - It's a work in progress but already achieves all you standardly need.
It's almost the same as rabbit. Also it's completely free and has a nice community

Metastream allows you to watch internet videos with friends. It synchronizes media on websites so you can watch together.
Metastream vs Rabbit opinions
for youtube videos, you just paste the url on the chat box and ta-dah!
fopsiebest application to watch videos and streams together with friends, the UI/UX is just beautiful!
GinsengRequires an extension to be added into the browser for not only the host but also all viewers; doesn't use VMs as Rabb.it does, plus only some (not all) websites are supported.
If you're watching a video on any website that isn't mainstream, then good luck on Metastream. For a more Rabb.it-like experience, I'd find other alternatives.
JorgeFandezThe thing that made rabb.it stand out was virtual machines, which metastream lacks
sashencatOnly syncs video without providing a virtual browser or screenshare, requires extension to use
prayformercy99Metastream is just a screen sync, it doesnt offer a true Virtual machine experience like rabbit did. It literally just makes sure you click play on a video at the same time.
fopsieit's hecking well made works 100% of the time, is a little confusing at the beginning but just a perfect web app for watching videos together!

Kosmi vs Rabbit opinions
Kosmi is LITERALLY like Rabbit, pretty smooth and actually you can stream the audio of a specific tab on web browsers which is a plus!!! I think it's the most similar to Rabbit as I've tried the others.

Invited.tv vs Rabbit opinions
gfhgfhfgThe VM quality is absolutely superb!
lednerzoraIt uses virtual browsers just like Rabbit did, and it has remote control sharing!
foxeleanorThe developers are very friendly and takes suggestions seriously! :)
loyalconroyI like invited.tv as an alternative because it has remote control sharing. This was the best feature of Rabbit.
RemovedUserIt is the closest thing to Rabbit, it actually uses virtual machines so my friends and I can watch anything we want!
hvonThe website is very clean and easy to use!
CyTube is a web application providing media synchronization, chat, and more for an arbitrary number of channels. The serverside is written in JavaScript and runs on Node.JS.
CyTube vs Rabbit opinions
bonepyramidI like the ui personally for how raw it is. It has some flaws but since its open source then anyone could help contribute to these issues since CyTube has so much potential.
Cant cast a normal webpage
It's not the prettiest alternative, but it definitely includes a lot of features that Rabb.it didn't have. IMO it is almost perfect but doesn't provide screensharing; you have to either paste in the video url or upload a file.
Videos flat do not sync, when they play at all.
