Been using the platform for 3 years without issue. Great for watching YouTube or Google Drive videos. Works with free, popular streaming services.

Needs Login in order to start one. Guests have to have some type of extension installed in order to view it as well. More hassle to use

I've struggled to understand how to put a video until i've figured out it is exactly like Watch2Gether but ten time worst.

On W2G, you can put a link you've copypasted from Youtube OR you can search on the website and click on the thumbnail to play the video.
On Cytube, the video play only if you put a link. What's the point adding a research bar to give the user the possibility to search a video when you can't even click it?! I mean, you can click it, it will just bring you back to Youtube rather than playing the video on Cytube automatically.
-
And last thing, when you pause a video, it's permanently. I know W2G got this little problem too but at least, there was still another way!
On Cytube, nope. Each time you pause, the video plays by itself 3 seconds later and it's very annoying.

Hi, I struggled with the pausing too, but you can only pause a video if you are the "party leader". If you are not, then that happens. (Maybe it's a bug? I dunno) It's also in the FAQ btw https://github.com/calzoneman/sync/wiki/Frequently-Asked-Questions#how-do-i-pause-or-seek-the-video
