It really hurts me to see rabb.it go away. I had been on rabb.it for a very long time. More than 4 years I guess! It's a great service. I met great friends there. Spent hours and hours watching videos talking to friends and curating relationships that I value the most. I wish rabb.it would've stayed as long as those relationships are staying that it helped me made! GoodLuck team Rabb.it.
You can try mzelo.com
Their newest update has removed nearly all of the features listed here, Netflix does not work, you can't change quality, most buttons and controls are gone and it looks like trash,
It was an amazing platform for its time, I wish it had been managed more prudentially and survived to reach critical mass.
From when I used it, Rabbit was a smart and efficient group content watching solution that was easy to use for hosts and easy to understand for guests. At this point, there are many alternatives, though very few seem to reach the same level of accessibility and robust feature set that Rabbit had. Several other AlternativeTo users seem to suggest
Metastream as the closest functioning alternative. I will be trying it out and reviewing it in the near future.
Rabb.it is discontinued, but it's been reworked as Kast.

Is it the same app? I don't think so... Rabb.it was totally browser-based and it didn't need an app to be installed to run.
It is the only thing I know of in it's category. Have used it both to watch things with my friends and as a proxy.
Rabbit allows you and friends to watch videos and browse the internet together in a hosted browser, which provides a different experience. Listed here are multiple voice/video chat options. While rabbit does allow this kind of communication, none of these other options are quite the same. As far as i'm aware, there really isn't anything quite like rabbit at this point in time, with the project itself still in beta.
Too bad they made it worse and took away nearly all the features
