The only image viewer among the 35 tested that was able to open TIFF ZSTD !

Just what I was looking for, to browse a large amount of folders containing a mix of video and image files, both conveniently and quickly.

The only reason why I'm "only" giving it 4 out of 5 is because it is currently unmaintained due to the war in Ukraine (where I assume the project leader lives). It deserves a 5 otherwise and I'll gladly update my note to that once/if development resumes (or a fork takes over).

simple, folder browsing

Best photo viewer program, but updates stopped indefinitely.

Fast, feature filled. The folder browsing is extremely useful. Use the video variant so that you can quickly browse through and preview a folder filled with a mix of images and videos.

Finally a picture viewer application which doesn't want to be more then we need:

• viewing pictures, including animations - gif, webm, mp4
• shortcut to move or copy the picture to a predefined location, or to delete it.
• folder view, which i think is the fastest among all of the picture viewer apps I've tried so far.
• configurable Thumbnails bar.
• basic image editing features - rotate, cut, crop, fit (width, window, 1:1) and zoom.
• basic UI settings, including "blur" effect on KDE desktops.

The only thing I might miss is opening image in external program.
