What is PeekMark?
PeekMark is a native Markdown viewer and local-first workspace for macOS. Select a Markdown file in Finder and press Space to preview it with GitHub Flavored Markdown, syntax highlighting, Mermaid diagrams, Math/LaTeX, frontmatter, tables of contents and wikilinks. The free Community edition includes Finder Quick Look and local Markdown rendering. PeekMark Pro adds folder-based workspaces, advanced search, backlinks, a knowledge graph, custom themes and HTML, PDF and DOCX export. Markdown files remain on the Mac and are not uploaded to a hosted rendering or indexing service. PeekMark requires no account for its core features, contains no ads and has no recurring subscription.
