Paypal suck. Their Automatic Renewal is tricky. Some firms do it automatically because you surely will forget it the first months. Firms are usally quiet about this. I also blame Paypal's labyrinth...See why people do not like PayPal 😡 Post your review
Paypal suck. Their Automatic Renewal is tricky. Some firms do it automatically because you surely will forget it the first months. Firms are usally quiet about this. I also blame Paypal's labyrinth interface, which can also be very difficult to find out. Their support is just crap. They don't help you with anything. They refused me to change my surname even though it is started you should provide them with proof. I scanned my passport and driver license and still after 3 months they dodn't answer me. Right know im happy, because I find out how to close my paypal account!

Don't use PayPal!!!
This is the worst company ever. I ordered an online service with paypal and it was thefts, who created automatic subscription for my order. So I contacted paypal to terminate this subscription and paypal said they DON'T HAVE ANY CUSTOMER PROTECTION FOR DIGITAL GOODS!!! Only physical goods have protection with paypal.
So they just let thefts to transfer my money each month for doing nothing and paypal didn't allow me to cancel subscription!!!!
After losing a few hundreds of dollars I just closed my credit cards and created a new one to stop this madness.
I hate paypal so much!!!!
PayPal may seem like a godsend but there is a profit margin built into their exchange rate. There is often not much, if any, difference in using paypal to convert your currency as compared to your bank rate.
The PayPal app is still available to download from the Windows Store, but once you open the app you receive a message telling you to access PayPal through your mobile browser.
As someone who does a lot of consulting and freelance work, I always need a secure, automated paying system to receive payments from my clients. While Paypal is definitely the most secure, and is available in most sites, it's fees are horrendous. Pricing hikes for receiving money are making me look for alternatives. Fees are expectable, just not at this rate.
Google paypal bad service. It's like reading a horror story. Experienced it first hand.
"So as you can see... PayPal will make a ton more money if we side with the buyer".
i have just started using paypal and i think it just make it easier for me, i like it.
I have been using paypal for a period of time, at first i was positive.
That changed slowly after i paid a site which should deliver me a product which they never did.
So i tried a chargeback ... it was refused because the seller had set it as being a service.
Then the second issue turned up, i bought and item and never got it, again paypal refused to pay.
So i left paypal for a long time, then i was asked by a person if he could pay me through paypal for some goods i was selling.
Which i finally did after the buyer constant refused to pay in other ways, that was the biggest mistake i ever made. Everything looked ok and the funds was so put on my creditcard account.
So i send the items off and accepted a few other sales the same way.
Time passes and poof all of a sudden the account deep red, i checked the account which turned out to be a chargeback from paypal for the sold goods.
Ofcourse the buyer disappeared because he used fake addresses and other fake info.
So you end up loosing everything and on top of that lost the items and the postal costs of your sales.
STAY far AWAY from PAYPAL is my advise or else get burned one day as i was
I've been using Paypal since forever but only acquired a merchant account until recently, only to see the fees they charge for incoming payments. 5.4% is a bit too much, and while I love the security it provides in terms of safe payment, I still wish they would slash their prices a little.
I have been using Paypal for a very very long time now and i havnt run into any issues yet. ive been making online payments for a while and never had a problem so i love the app!
I use paypal a lot. There was one time where a person stole my information after I bought something, they stole about 200$ from my account. Paypal responded quickly and replaced the funds. Eventhough they made it so I'm not allowed to spend over 100$ at a time now, they still fixed the issue and saved me.
-Also, in the terms of service, in the fine print, it clearly states that they are not responsible for any funds lost during transactions. But this has never been an issue for me.
I really like how easy PayPal is to use, but the fees in PayPal are horrendous because they don't have much competition. I really hope competitors like Dwolla - taking only 25cent fee per transaction - can shake things up!
Paypal is one of the best financial apps I've ever used. It's super convenient.
Sending money here is really so secured indeed!
