The GUI is basic, crossplatform and user-friendly. The portable version is a single executable/standalone EXE, which is awesome. It supports .cbz files well, but unfortunately, it can't open PDF or EPUB files. That's why I'm switching to SumatraPDF — it's also free, open-source, and its portable version is a single executable file.

I appreciate the effort to create such an app with JS but it won't open my pdf files. Error message "cannot read property numPages or undefined opencomic"
The error message is "cannot read property numPages or undefined" (I copy-pasted my google search query in full 😄)
OpenComic has the best interface and usability of all the readers that I have tested, but sadly OpenComic completely destroys that quality of your images, it does not matter which image format it is, OpenComic makes it blur even without zoom.
