It's just an SSH tool. No support for VNC, RDP, X etc... Misses a lot of features as well. Doesn't support much more then the built-in terminal.app on a Mac. Where MobaXterm is soo much more. All your remote session, tunnels, etc, on loads of protocols in one centralized fast tool.
SecureCRT is a good alternative to MobaXterm, because you can run Python, Java or VBS scripts and macros to extend the functionality of the software or to automate repeatedly used functions! Good support in the forum!


Command Prompt, also known as cmd.exe or cmd (after its executable file name), is the command-line interpreter on Windows NT, Windows CE, OS/2 and eComStation operating systems. It is the counterpart of COMMAND.

PAC is a Perl/GTK Gnome replacement for SecureCRT/Putty/etc... It provides a GUI to configure SSH/Telnet connections: users, passwords, EXPECT regular expressions, macros, etc.




The project seems to be no longer developed. Last version, 4.5.5.7, released in November 2015, can be still downloaded from the official website.
It is very similar to MobaXterm at least on Linux. It can save sessions with nice GUI.
