What is Mira Search?
Mira Search is a desktop application that turns your folders into a searchable workspace. It allows users to search files using plain English instead of exact filenames. Its features include metadata search, content extraction, semantic search, live indexing, and file preview. Users add a source folder which Mira indexes, records file metadata, extracts text, and generates semantic embeddings. Search queries are then matched and ranked by relevance. All processing is local, but users can opt to use the Gemini API provider to send content to Google's API.
