Comments about HomeBank as an Alternative to Microsoft Money
BrB3I used Microsoft money for a long time, but I needed to change to a more OS friendly software to keep my finances, after trying a few different programs, HomeBank was my favourite, although it lacked some features, and it took me a while to figure out how to transfer my Microsoft Money files to HomeBank, I ultimately figured it out and having used Homebank for a few years now, I can say that for my needs it works wonders. If you want to keep an eye on your budget, I highly recommend Homebank.
Very user unfriendly, did not import qif data correctly.

Comments about Moneydance as an Alternative to Microsoft Money
functionally almost identical to the "old" MS Money
Its logic is very different from MS Money (because of double entry). It's not intuitive. I don't like the interface and especially reports, most of which I don't even understand.
