menuNotes

menuNotes is a tiny and lightweight notes app that lives in your macOS menu bar. It focuses on one thing: giving you a fast place to drop text you need later again. Nothing more. No complicated features, no setup, no learning curve. You click the icon, write what you need and move on.

It works great for temporary information like login details you want to type out, a quick reminder you do not want to lose, a link someone sent you or anything else you would usually park in the clipboard. Menu Notes gives you a small space that is always available without interrupting your workflow.

The editor supports simple formatting like bold, italic and underline. Links are detected automatically. Everything stays in one small window that opens and closes with a single click.

menuNotes is designed to stay out of the way. It does not show notifications, it does not take over your screen and it does not try to replace a full note taking app. It is simply a fast place for text that you need for the moment or for the next few hours.

If you want a lightweight tool that fits naturally into your workflow, menuNotes is made for you.
