From my experience, XWiki is way more adaptable to business use cases than MediaWiki : changing the theme or setting-up a mail server was very easy for example. XWiki also includes a nice extension manager with tons of available extensions. The main downside of XWiki is that it is harder to install than simple PHP applications ; it also take more system memory by default.

    Wiki.js vs MediaWiki Comments

Wiki.js is for technical documentation (just take a look at its UI), while MediaWiki is made primarily for Wikipedia which is an encyclopedia, but can be also adapted for technical writing. So Wiki.js is not a replacement for MediaWiki when the use case is for encyclopedia or similar writing.
