Comments and Reviews

Comment summary: Media Player Classic (MPC) is appreciated for its lightweight and versatile nature, often paired with codec packs like K-Lite or CCCP for enhanced performance. Users value its simple yet customizable interface, but some have noted its outdated and unattractive GUI. While some comments compare MPC unfavorably to VLC, it's still favored for playing a wide range of video formats efficiently. Despite being discontinued, ongoing community support continues to enhance its functionality.

In my opinion, very good player too but not so good than VLC.

MPC has been discontinued. The current version is MPC Home Cinema. I would remove it from the page, or at least notify that's been discontinued.

The title says it all. Media Player Classic plays everything I throw at it and plays everything very well! Standard definition, high definition, it doesn't matter. MPC plays it all!
