Lispr information
What is Lispr?
Lispr turns your voice into text on Mac and Windows. Hold a chosen key, speak, and your words appear in whatever app has your cursor. It transcribes roughly 99 languages and handles switching between them mid-sentence, so you can move from one language to another without touching any settings. Lispr also translates. Hold another key to speak in one language and get text in another, across 32 target languages. The app is free, with no account and no paid tier. The download is 3.67 MB and runs on macOS 11 and later, including Intel Macs, plus Windows. Median transcription latency is 346 ms. Lispr keeps your microphone off until you hold a key. It discards audio after transcription. A custom vocabulary lets you add names and technical terms you want recognized.
