What is Linux Lite?
Linux Lite is a beginner-friendly Linux distribution based on Ubuntu LTS and featuring the
Xfce desktop.
Linux Lite is a delightful, tasteful distro that makes Linux feel like a breath of fresh air. Linux Lite is a distro that finds favour wherever it’s installed, but for some odd reason is often left to one side, or forgotten completely when the talk turns to fresh, lightweight and manageable desktops. We’ve no idea why, but suffice to say that the new version of the distro is an exceptionally good example of what can be achieved when the right combinations of desktop, tools, programs and ideas come together.
Linux Lite follows the Unix philosophy as it relates to modern programming.
"Write programs that do one thing and do it well"
Linux Lite produces custom software. Our philosophy is minimal code, minimal design and minimal dependency. Our applications should be clean, fast and simple. Intelligent, well thought out design with great attention to detail. We use the GNU GPL Version 2 Free Software Licence.

Awesome and lightweight. It's like puppy linux, but prettier and more feature-packed. Also, perfect for running from your flash drive, due to its small install size.
Linux Lite is great. It can easily be put onto a usb drive and it's good for new users (of Windows). Great if you have an old computer with XP.
