FlowSwitch information
What is FlowSwitch?
FlowSwitch is a Windows-first desktop workspace tool for people who juggle different setups (work vs. personal, deep focus vs. meetings, multi-monitor vs. laptop-only). You define profiles that can launch applications, open browser tabs, set volume, and restore window layouts across monitors—then switch context with one action instead of manually reopening and rearranging everything.
Discovery and capture are built around how you actually use a PC on Windows: installed-app scanning (start menu, registry, related sources with icons and metadata), and layout capture from running and minimized windows so you can map them to monitors, edit the layout, and reuse it on launch. Profiles live in local app data, with optional encryption via Electron safeStorage when the OS supports it; you can also import and export profiles as JSON.
