iMazing is a very good iTunes alternative, because it does local backups and on top of it, it allows you to browse and edit your backups and safely store them on your Mac or Windows computer.

It's a web-based music streaming platform. Not a music library manager

A music manager, but a poor one at that. Frequently freezes or crashes. Can only manage 40K songs. Only good if you use Amazon Music services.

I like it because is what iTunes should have become after all of these years.

I personally don't like the Music App anymore. Is a very bad option for any music lover with a HUGE library as in my case.

Swinsian just works. You add music files to it and it plays them. Doesn't move them, doesn't crash, doesn't complain. Very easy to build playlists which also don't just disappear. Swinsian just helps you listen to music in a simple and easy environment, while allowing you to build playlists as you go.

It's a great lightweight music player with loads of options I just wish it had a few small features. Such as replay gain or Sound Check as it is called in iTunes, and maybe a larger interface option for those of us who are sight impaired, but as far as iTunes alternatives go VOX is simply a must for any OSX/macOS/iOS machine!
