"Help Docs improve" button with optional screenshots is just great sometimes!
Google docs is not a good alternative for microsoft office. If you need to do things online, I would still recommend microsoft office online.
Still one of the best online collaboration tools for working with text that almost everyone is familiar with. Great version history, commenting, and editing features. The UI is simple enough, and yet there are a lot of powerful features under the hood. Been using it for many years with many different people, and it's just consistently reliable and stable.
They have many minor improvements over years. They don't make news for every change. Some features can be undocumented.
Try new things yourself!
Google is just the best for online work. Editing and suggesting modes are amazing for team work and learning without immediate changes.
Used it to write my papers in college/uni. It took off alot of stress, since it saves automatically in the cloud. Google's format doesn't take up any space in Google Drive. Files can be downloaded as pdfs, docx, odf, and others. I mostly download files as docx. Combined with LibreOffice for local use, it's pretty useful.
It's recommend for taking notes, and making bibliographies. Most of my classmates and I used Google's office suit to collab on assignments if needed.
Like this for my projects with schoolmates!
