Comments about Clementine as an Alternative to foobar2000
Top Positive CommentTop Negative CommentDaltro Auguso Campanher de SouzaIt's not well maintained, so... Expect encoders and decoders to be a lot obsolete, specially if you use Windows and the common static libraries! Also, you can expect a lot of online service libraries to not work very well. See Strawberry instead.
Most Recent CommentClementine is just a basic audio player, whereas foobar2000 is a very advanced player.

Comments about Strawberry as an Alternative to foobar2000
Strawberry has many features that are similar to the ones I use most in foobar2000. I particularly like the queuing system as it allows me to maintain my playlists in the order I want while easily being able to cherry pick what I want to listen to right now. This is the best music player I have found that is available for Linux and it gets me closest to the experience I loved about using foobar2000 in Windows.
