Great tool when you're distro hopping, or want to backup data in general. Made it super easy to copy my /home directory onto the new Linux system.

Pros

  • Easy installation
  • Flexible options to include/exclude folders
  • Scheduled backups
  • Can backup directly to the cloud
  • Encryption (Optional)

Cons

  • None (Experienced no issues)

Deja Dup will probably be the only Linux backup tool that I will ever use, as long as it stays supported.

Excellent backup tool for Linux and I need to know if it has any option to limit the copy speed like what is in Duplicati or Gs Richcopy 360 that works on windows ?
