I like Coggle, and I would like Coggle a lot more if it's freemium structure didn't hinder so many features of the software. I understand limiting the number of "Coggles" one can have at a time, the size of them, and the advanced features. I find it frustrating when freemium software cripples the base software itself so much that one wouldn't be able to create a fully functional (useful) mind map that would showcase what an application can really do. I found myself being bombarded by pop-ups letting me know that I would have to pay for the "Awesome" version of the software if I wanted to use a core (in my opinion) ability.

The basic Coggles one can create with a free membership truly doesn't do it justice if you take a look at the website with some of the examples of what it is capable of. There are other "free" alternatives that are very full-featured, that I believe the makers of Coggle have truly only hurt themselves by not giving users the main features to demonstrate what Coggle can do to compete with all the other mind maps on a basic level. Sure it is colorful and pretty, but I need to see more substance. If I was given more to whet my appetite with the free version, I may be persuaded to pay for the "Awesome" level, but the bare bones level of free is just too underwhelming compared to what their competition offers at a free price.

At least offer a reasonable trial period without having to hassle friends or family just to try it. You sure are making it difficult to convince me to give you some of my money... make it easier, and we have a deal! It certainly looks promising... I guess, as I haven't been able to really try it yet. ;)
