What is Codebahn?

Codebahn is a focused and independent GitHub alternative. Repos, builds, issues, artifact registries. Solid interfaces for web, terminal, and AI agents.

We build for the core developer loop and make it fast. Fewer things, done well.

Built on a maintained Forgejo fork. The fork adds the layers between open source project and managed product: billing, ephemeral CI provisioning, multi-tenant isolation, and defaults that prioritize safety over configuration.

Capacity-based pricing, not per-seat. Adding teammates or agents doesn't move the bill. Additional CI minutes are fixed-price top-ups, bought as you need them. Storage over your plan is a flat per-GB rate. Run out of minutes and builds stop. A job already running gets a grace window to finish, not a hard stop mid-build. No surprise on the invoice.

EU-only data path. Hackerman AB (Sweden). Scaleway (France). Hetzner (Germany). Every sub-processor is EU-incorporated. No US entity in the chain.

One-click export, standard format, no support ticket. BYO runners work alongside hosted CI. The day we stop earning your stay, you leave with everything.
