Fremforge is a European Git hosting and CI/CD platform for teams that want to keep their code, builds and development data under EU jurisdiction. Operated by Danish company fremverk, it provides hosted repositories, pull requests, issues, wikis and releases alongside tools for building and delivering software. Teams can run automated workflows on hosted runners in Germany or connect their own runners. Fremforge also includes a package registry and security tools for secret scanning, dependency checks, static analysis, software bills of materials and build provenance. Access controls, audit events and single sign-on help organisations manage who can change code and how it reaches production. Fremforge is designed for teams moving from GitHub, Gitlab, Bitbucket or another Git host. Repository mirroring supports a gradual migration, while self-service export provides a way to take repositories and related data out again. It combines familiar Git collaboration with European hosting and a clearer view of the software delivery process.
