Malware. Will spam checkboxes to legally allow it to install random crap at you, as you click "install". You cancelled the install? Well the malware will demand a restart to finish installing its trojan. This malware will then install a whole bunch of random .exe files all over program files to get a foothold in your system.
Beware. Avoid.

It's fast and does not pop up with ads or other annoying notifications.
I want to like this antivirus, because it does everything else right, but gods help you if you get a false positive. Rather than ignore the file, you have to report and attach the file causing errors and wait for the update to get pushed out. In the meantime, your file won't be allowed to run.
It's a deal breaker for me, because it's blocking Steam right now!

I have had issues using Bitdefender on macOS, where my machine would lock up. However, on my Windows device, it performs well. It's definitely my choice over Norton 360. But the 5 device plan is a little pricey.
I used to like this. But it kept confusing me using command prompt for malware. I know most people don't try to disable Windows analytics & bloatware using code, but it was annoying to deal with. So I had to uninstall it. Definitely a good antivirus. But keep that in mind. Edit: Wait nevermind I just remembered that time I had to reinstall my OS because it didn't catch some malware.
Pros: -Much cheaper than Norton (personal use) -Solid ranking/won awards -It saved my ass once after downloading a malicious torrent -Seems lightweight, and doesn't bug me with pop-ups -I'm not a fan of most "free" anti-virus/internet security
Cons: -Price - $95 annual for 5 device protection. That sucks, but I'm paying it.
I daily drive Linux now and have since cancelled my subscription.
Tested only Mac OS version warning! Good:
