What is AngKorGit?

AngKorGit is a modern, cross-platform Git client for macOS, Windows, and Linux — a 12 MB download instead of the ~1 GB of Electron-based clients, built with Rust and native webviews for speed.

It focuses on doing the everyday 25 things exceptionally well: a virtualized commit graph that stays smooth on 100k-commit repos, drag-and-drop merge and rebase, interactive rebase, a visual conflict resolver with per-line picking, staged/unstaged hunk and line staging, undo/redo for git operations, a built-in terminal, and 16 themes.

Profiles bind your work and personal identities (commit email + hosting accounts) to each repository — assigned once, remembered forever — so committing with the wrong email or pushing with the wrong account can't happen. Multiple accounts per host are supported, and expiring tokens warn you before they break.

AI assistance (commit messages, diff explanations, PR descriptions) works with your own API keys, local models via Ollama, or your installed CLI tools like Claude Code — no subscription, no telemetry. Free and open source under MIT.
