Does everything i missed from the cyanogenmod file manager that was replaced in lineage. Free and Open Source, no ads, no unjustified permissions, lots and lots of functionality (like bookmarks, text editor, display of checksums, sharing, making/renaming files and folders), many settings you can tweak, good design, active developement. Really, what more to ask for?

OpenSource project with private comercial cloud plugin,it would be ok and honest if it would have support to SFTP Secure WebDav, NextCloud or Owncloud, but it does not, it only offers comercial options,no even samba, so much for privacy, move along, there's nothing to see here!

Thank you for bringing that up! They should have written that on the f-droid page. As they only have a "The source code is no longer available, no updates possible " tag.

Hi, we've added support for SFTP and are currently working on WebDav support. We already have SMB client support. On top of this, we have a huge UI revamp in pipeline. Stay tuned :)

I didn't get enough. Looking for an alternative to files by google I found amaze and download it along with amaze utilities of F-Droid.

The main negative points I see is that:

  • Has a lot of friction to do things as simple as erasing files
  • Is very complex and difficult to understand
  • There are better options (such as Fossify)

The good thing that I take from this app is that thanks to it I checked that files by google was very bad, that's why I give you 2 stars and not 1. my advice: oen Fossify, it's better.

Available on F-Droid; decent UI and feature set. Would like to be able to use WebDav with it but I'm satisfied with what I'm getting.

It's good software.
