What is Ah-Ha?

A programmable personal data layer for humans and AI agents.

What it is

Not a task manager. Most knowledge tools were built for people to read back later. Ah-Ha is built for you and your AI agents to work with right now. Every space is a human interface and an API at the same time, reachable by app, REST API, MQTT, webhooks or MCP.

Five space types

  • Trail — an append-only log where every entry is cryptographically linked to the one before it. Tamper with a record and the chain breaks. Sensor readings, health metrics, a journal: anything that must not be silently altered.
  • Board — kanban with ranked cards and custom columns. Agents can move and create cards without a tour of your structure.
  • Note — a freeform document, searchable across all your spaces.
  • List — ordered checklists. A webhook fires, a new item appears.
  • Table — typed columns and a flexible schema. Feed rows in by API, MQTT or webhook and query them with filters.

Programmable from day one

  • MCP server — Claude and other MCP-compatible agents can read, write, search and reason over your spaces. npx @enthropicdata/ah-ha-mcp-server
  • REST API — full CRUD for every space type, with API keys.
  • MQTT bridge — subscribe topics straight into Trail spaces.
  • Webhooks — anything that can POST JSON can create cards, append trail entries or add list items.

Android apps (beta)

All three work and are used daily, but are still changing. Not on the Play Store yet.

  • Ah-Ha for Android — Ah! Today, a home-screen widget, reminders, NFC tags and QR codes, automatic check-ins, and instant alerts. Works offline and syncs when you reconnect.
  • Ah! Rhythm — your daily rhythm: supplements, walks and workouts, eating windows, and holds with gentle check-ins, grouped by time of day. Works on its own. Don't make it your only reminder for a prescription medicine.
  • Ah! Cart — shop on the cash in your pocket, with a running total including sales tax.
